yeah it was. I never personally used it, lacking a modem capable of doing 
slip/ppp until after netscape 1.0 had been released. I'm a lynx user from 
way back :-)

rofl. that doesn't say much about mosaic now does it? ;-)

I don't think it ever was updated. It just sorta faded away once Netscape 
became popular. I remember netscape 1.0 being distributed on the uq 
connection diskette (yes netscape 1.0 setup file fit on a 1.44Mb floppy 
along with trumpet winsock and some other utilities uq recommended for 
windows 3.1)
