[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics. Please observe the list's charter. ]
[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]
I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the "free" as in
beer, or free as in free, 3D graphics renderers for Linux. I want to get into
3D modelling and stuff, and I've looked at blender, but i wasn't all that
impressed with any of the stuff I've seen created with blender. Povray
however has some excellent looking stuff done for it. Unfortunately there
isn't a debian package for moonlight 3d for some reason, so I'll have to
compile it myself. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any better stuff,
or an apt source for this sort of stuff. Thanks,
David
