if would if was using say, debian. which i was using until i ran into
problems with my network cards. Freesco runs off a floppy. you type setup
at the boot prompt and then configure the options. it runs things like
dhclient itself, using the information given to it. Unfortunately because
it *IS* running it itself, I'm finding it very difficult to check the
settings and see what's really happening.
In posting here I had hoped that somebody might've had experience using
freesco and could help me with a little bit of troubleshooting. the
documentation available isn't particularly helpful, and the setup options
are a little vague in places.
I still can't find where it decides which modules should belong to which
card. This is making it difficult for me to make sure that it's not trying
to send a dhcp request to my LAN instead of to the cable modem.
