A Hauppauge HD-PVR is a great device for capturing analogue video and
audio. It works great under Linux too.
I have one here I was experimenting with. I am happy to lend it to you.
Do you want me to bring it to the next HUMBUG meeting?
Regards,
Mark

Otherwise I've found 'game recorders' with RCA in, (only) a handful of internal capture cards and a slew of dodgy USB dongles/tuners. Asides from the latter, I haven't had a chance to actually test anything myself.
