[H-GEN] wanted: older laptop/desktop

Hiya all

The girls are into Minecraft (we now have a multiplayer server just on the LAN), and while it runs fine on Linux 32-bit or 64-bit, the one thing it can't do without is some form of graphics acceleration (it uses OpenGL). It's pretty flexible, but there are limits.

Consequently, we're now one laptop (or other machine) short.
Do you a laptop they don't use, or a small desktop even?
Specs don't matter much as long as it's from say the last 5 years it'll probably be ok.

Depending on what you have on offer, I'd be happy to trade it for a Dell Inspiron 8500.
Its NVIDIA does have acceleration but the driver support would require me to downgrade to a much older Linux kernel/distro or jump through most awkward hoops with older drivers. It does have the most awesome screen (1920x1024) and 1.5GB of RAM. Currently runs Lubuntu 12.10 (Quantal).
