Not really surprising -- the one problem with using the builtin 
repositories with most distributions is that they can lag behind a bit. 
Especially since Ubuntu seems to be putting all its efforts into the new 
Unity interface, so might not be keeping other window managers as up to 
date ...

I did notice the date, though I have noticed sometimes with other 
projects that bugs can take longer than that to get fixed.
