[H-GEN] 2nd hand Pcs for Flexi Learning Centre

Hi All,

I don't know if anyone on this list can help, but I teach ICT at a small 
flexible learning community for young people (15 years +) Brisbane's 
north side - Jabiru Community College is our name. Some of my students 
are pretty keen to learn what all the bits inside a PC are and what they 
do, and others are keen to build their own PCs and others have gone as 
far to say they'd like to refurbish PCs to give away to the local community.

I can tick all those boxes if I can get my hands on a few second hand 
PCs for them to tinker with. For those keen on refurbishing, the idea is 
we would install some FOSS on them once cleaned up.

I've made contact with Computer Bank QLD and hoping that leads 
somewhere. But I'm emailing here on the off-chance that some of you 
work/consult for companies that might be interested in donating their 
used PCs to us. If so, please let me know. My email at the college is

For those interested, our college is focused on young people with 
complex social and learning needs and who are looking for 
non-traditional ways of remaining engaged with learning. Many have been 
disenfranchised from education for a number of years.
