[H-GEN] help needed: Debian/Ubuntu + GRUB + software RAID fun

Hi all
Update on this... I'm happy to report total victory over both boxes.
- Debian stable has a bug with enumerating sw RAID devices (md0 can end up as md123, junk like that); grabbing GRUB2 from unstable fixes.
- the Ubuntu Maverick box was still on GRUB1 because it'd been upgraded in steps from ancient times; that caused issues when the raid stuff changed. After upgrading to GRUB2, it was easy to make things work again.
Mind you, the above just looks simple with the benefit of hindsight ;-)
