Thanks, that sounds like a good suggestion. I probably even have a .iso file stored somewhere on a computer here -- I doubt I need the latest version of Debian for this. If not, I'll give the gparted CD a suggestion, that sounds like it would be perfect for what I want.

The PING live cd certainly sounds interesting too, though it might be a bit overkill for what I need (I don't need the disk ghosting features). I'll look into it out of interest anyway, though. I can see it being useful in the future.

I've been to Humbug meetings a number of times and always enjoyed it. I can't see myself getting to any soon, though, unfortunately.
