Sorry Russell. But my fingers need to talk ;-)

I agree with closing these lists. Put me down as a yes vote.

Matthew Franklin.

Subject: [H-GEN] Closing of unused Mailing Lists

[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics. Posts from non-subscribed addresses will vanish. ]

You may recall in my last Presidents report I floated the idea of
closing many of out existing mailing lists to see what the reaction
would be.

So far the reaction has been unanimously in favour. So unless there is
strong last minute protests, I will be moving a motion at this
Saturday's exec meeting to close the following lists:

- blipvert
- chat
- csig
- dsig
- talks

Closing means they will be moved of the lists page, and will no longer
accept new posts. The archives remain available for the foreseeable
future.

If you object to this speak now, or forever hold your peace.
