As is true of so much information on the Net, that article was written
by a fool. The recent drama with Gawker media is sufficient proof of
that.

I don't (in general), but I have no real need for it. As a user, I'm a
geek so creating thousands of username/password combinations is easy,
simple and trustworthy for me. As a website operator (which I'm not),
I don't have a user base that I need to provide logins for.
