Indeed, well put. Don't get me wrong, I love using GNU tools, especially 
say on my Sun system at home (however with Oracle at the reigns that is 
going to be harder me thinks).

The Federal election is a classic example that it shouldn't be just about 
Red vs Blue team, and the same dogged persistence needs to have it place, 
but there needs to be middle grounds too. As that is were most of us tend 
to live.
