Okay. The main reason I was thinking I might use OpenWRT is that I  
found instructions that use it.

Having said that, much as I'd like an excuse to try out something like  
OpenWRT, I'd rather use the manufacturer's firmware if it could do  
want I wanted (such as the Netcomm mentioned in Nickolas Kwiatkowski's  
post). This is mainly because if I try something new out on a computer  
and it ends up unbootable I know what to do to fix it. I'm not sure I  
would with a router...

Thanks. I've looked at their site in the past. They have a number of  
things which would do what I want very well, possibly(?) better than  
an off-the-shelf router. But nothing there suits my budget...
