Do we have such a written policy for Humbug's own lists and 
archives?

If not, I think we should, and it should be displayed prominently
on lists.humbug.org.au and humbug.org.au/mailingLists.php.

Also, we should remove the pointer to http://archive.humbug.org.au/
at the bottom of humbug.org.au/mailingLists.php.  We archive our
lists using mailman.

Finally, to Bruce: Perhaps moving archive.humbug.org.au to some
other domain name owned and controlled by you would not be a
bad idea?  Humbug can redirect http://archive.humbug.org.au/ to
that domain for the next decade or so.
