[H-GEN] Security updates for excalibur

While working on some Humbug sysadmin stuff last night, I noticed that
our new server (excalibur) was behind on several security updates.  I
took the opportunity to run the update/upgrade incantations to bring it
up to date.

I believe a plan was made to automate this.  I'd suggest that might be
better done sooner rather than later, if we are to have a reasonable
chance of avoiding repetitions of the recent system compromise.
