Hello everybody,
If you were keen to come to Kernel Conference Australia but
still needed one more reason to convince you to register
and attend, how about this:
Brendan Gregg, author of the DTraceToolkit and member of the
Fishworks team at Sun Microsystems
is going to be presenting on DTrace at Kernel Conference Australia.
Here's a short bio entry:
-------------------------
Brendan Gregg is a staff engineer in the Fishworks group at Sun Microsystems
where he works on a wide range of kernel and user-land technologies,
especially those related to performance. He is the creator of the
DTraceToolkit and is the co-author of "Solaris Performance and Tools".
His recent projects include writing the DTrace IP provider, the Fishworks
BUI dashboard, and the ZFS L2ARC.
Brendan has previously worked as a system administrator, Sun instructor
and consultant in the Asia-Pacific region, and was based in Sydney, Australia.
He is currently living in San Francisco, California, where he misses cricket
and rugby on TV.
