Hi Ben.  It's still useful for anyone who regularly uses a shell.

I'm typing this from a screen session right now.  I always IRC from screen 
- I move around the world reconnecting to screen and typing on IRC and no 
one even notices that anything has changed.

Over the last few years I've been supporting developers who use the shell 
but sometimes aren't very proficient.  Screen is a big hit when a show it 
to these guys.
