[H-GEN] Desperately seeking Rose

Hi everyone.  This is advance notice that at the next Humbug meeting I
will be hunting down Rose Levanti-Niblock, come hell or high water.

Now before you all say "Rose who?", my guess is most of you have seen
her.  A couple of humbug meetings ago she sat at the back corner, and
quietly and unpretentiously in 15 minutes or so mocked up some awesome
logos / pictures / whatever for our LCA 2010 bid.  She wasn't even going
to show anyone her work, but of course someone blabbed, and so I got
curious and asked her to show me what she had done.  I was so impressed
I then and there made her create an account on the wiki, so she could
upload them at her leisure.  

But she hasn't.  Slack.  So now I have to hunt her down.  Hopefully her
male friend will save me some time and drag her along to the next
meeting.

While I am here, as you know our LCA 2010 bid has been submitted.  Perth
has submitted one as well.  There may be others, but if so they are
hiding for now.

We have 3 weeks to modify the bid, and I am planning to take advantage
of that.  There are three areas that need to be addressed:

1.  The budget - update last years one.

2.  Re-format the bid.  Strange interactions between OO and MS Office
meant the formatting wasn't as good I would like.

3.  Get letters of support from all and sundry.  This is underway now -
I am sending lots of emails to people I have never heard of before.

Maybe if enough interesting things happen I will give another talk
"state of the Bid" talk at Humbug, despite promising I wouldn't earlier.
