The truth of that depends on your needs and expectations.  If Linux has
suited you, it's probably still your best bet.  Of course, if you want
to try a BSD, then by all means go ahead.

They all have websites where these questions are answered in detail and
the answers there are up to date.  From my perspective as a long term
user of FreeBSD, the reasons I chose it still seem valid.  Certainly,
there is more experience with FreeBSD than the others in Humbug at this
time.

But check out their websites and make your own choice.
