Hi all,

I've got two older Dell PowerEdge 2400 servers to give away at this coming Humbug. These are Ex-AARNet machines decommissioned about 2 years ago, having been in storage since. Both lived in data centres and are in clean, working condition when RAM is added.

Both have no RAM, but have a 667 or a 733 MHz processor and about 30GB of 10k rpm Ultra-320 disk. Dell quotes the RAM requirements as "64-, 128-, 256-, or 512 MB registered SDRAM DIMMs; must be rated for 133-MHz operation". The 667MHz box has a AIT-2 4 tape autoloader. There are no tapes with the autoloader.

They're free for someone who's prepared to carry them out of Humbug, otherwise they get dumped into the nearest skip. If you want to reserve one, shoot me an email. First come first served.
