Hey all,
One of the cool things at Kiwi FooCamp over the last weekend was seeing
some cool hacking with some arduino boards. See:
http://www.arduino.cc/
Basically, they're little boards with a microcontroller, a USB connector
and a few IO ports (both digital and analog via DAC), that you can use
for hacking up little hardware projects. Once you've uploaded a program
you can then use the USB port for IO, or just let the microcontroller
manipulate the other IO ports as you like.
Anyway, I was thinking of getting one, and wondered if some Humbug folks
would be interested in doing a bulk order. They're about $50 AUD or so,
shipped from Singapore or Italy. If anyone's interested, presumably we
could also get some breadboards and neat stuff, and spend a few hours
at a humbug one weekend to do Neat Stuff with them...
Cheers,
aj
