[H-GEN] LCA 2009 Committee

Calling for people who want to be on the LCA committee!
In other words I want all of you to nominate yourself 
for 6 odd months of stress, madness and a minor 
possibility of fun.  Note that this isn't nominating
for helping on the day - you get to do that regardless
of whether you nominate or not.

I have gone through the LCA-HOWTO [a] and come up with 
a list of positions on the committee.  "List of positions" 
is a rather grandiose name for my best guess of what has 
to be done.  And believe me it is a guess, so please 
don't hold me to it.  Here it is:

 * Media & Promotion.
 * Sponsorship.
 * Treasurer.
 * Network engineer.
 * Papers, speakers, keynotes.
 * Mini conferences.
 * Open Day.
 * Partners Programme.
 * Events & Dinners.
 * Video.
 * Venue organisation.
 * Web Site.
 * Committee president.

More detail on what each of these have to do is
available on the wiki.

To nominate:
 . Reply to this list, or
 . update the wiki.
This will all work as per my previous post [b], meaning
nominations will be finalised at the Humbug meeting on the
19/May/2007.

So, go for it!
