Can they actually deny a warranty claim because you removed windows? 
Can't you get a refund these days for an unused windows?

Are there know manufactures that flat out deny warranty claims if you 
run linux. I have never personally had any problems last warranty 
claim I had the hard drive died and they even did not reinstall an os 
because I asked them not to because I ran linux and would just be 
formating it anyway and they did what I wanted and did not seem to care.

If there are linux/*bsd/whatever unfriendly warranty companies maybe 
we should make a list so no one gets screwed by them. I know it would 
really piss me off seeing I don't ever have windows on my computers.
