Hmm ... I'm surprised I need to point this out around here but the use of 
the word "free" in free software was not primary meant to imply the 
software was without cost.

Thus I don't find Jamie Zawinski's statement at all amusing as it only 
adds to the misunderstanding of the term free as it applies to software.
