I was stunned when I heard lilo had passed away, and in such a tragic way 
too :(

I use to talk to lilo all the time back in the early days of the 
#linpeople IRC channel (going back 10 years I suppose).  I had lost touch 
with lilo over the years and happened to catch him on Freenode one day a 
couple of months before he died.  I decided to try to catch up with him 
more but alas that was not to be.
