I imagine that you could do that with 2.5 or greater as per this:

Seeing as it is just tunneling and/or using the CONNECT method then I 
fail to see the benefit. From my understanding the stuff on the web page 
is encrypted so only the two ends can understand what it is.

This would mean that the same object requested in different sessions or 
by a different client would look different to squid, so there is no 
point. If it isn't encrypted then it would more than likely go via port 
80 and squid would handle that already.

Is there something I am missing or is my understanding faulty?
