Hi Everyone,

The Australian Stock Exchange is holding a stock market game which gives 
you pretend money to trade on the stock market. The game uses real stock 
market data and runs for a period of 3 months so it is a great way to 
try out the stock market without losing any real money. You are ranked 
against everyone in the game so you can see how well you are going.

If you are interested then go to http://www.asx.com.au then click the 
share game link on the right hand side to register. Registrations close 
on the 1st of August with the game starting on the 3rd of August.

Unix Stock Charting Software:

The best Unix stock charting software I have found is at 
http://qtstalker.soureforge.net/ it can download free data from yahoo 
too which is perfect for learning with. I recommend the cvs version as 
it has more stuff.

If anyone is aware of any other good Unix stock software I would be 
interested to know as the above mentioned software is the best that I 
can find.
