Is that all? I have seen laptops that have never been cycled, they are plugged
into the mains when installed and disconnected when they are being replaced.
After 2 years the battery will last about 10 minutes from full charge to going
flat.
At least once a week I will disconnect my laptop from the mains and wait until
it shuts down by itself before plugging it back in. I have an IBM laptop and
they come with a battery manager, it won't charge the battery if it is more
than 96%.
