I would like to chair a fairly informal discussion/talk today at 5pm, if
I could. I don't have any slides or the like prepared (and don't usually
bring along a computer) but I wouldn't mind entering into a discussion
about the Efficient Software Initiative[1], including it's origins,
precepts, relevance, usefulness, and appropriateness.
I'd just like to bounce some ideas around, really :)
I'm preparing to talk about it in some wider circles and would like to
get a feel for which parts of my thinking on the topic are defensible
and reasonable, compared to the parts that are a little wacko.
