I've done 5 minute talks - they are really hard :)  You need to talk at 
full speed and avoid pausing for questions just to get some basic facts 
across.  What about 10-15 minutes with a Q&A afterwards?

Just a suggestion from someone too far away to commute to HUMBUG meetings 
normally.
