[H-GEN] Print services to Windows from Unix

Another option for providing print services to the network is to use a
daemon such as p910nd [1] which connects a parallel printer directly to
a tcp port. Windows can print to a network printer via a tcp - set up a
"local printer" and choose "New Port" instead of lpt etc and go to
through the network printer wizard. What I do is run this from the inetd.

Easier than using samba with cups or lpr to get windows machines to
print. Great for small networks and there is no spool to administer.

Just 2cents,
Josh.
