Where did you get your dd?

# dd if=/dev/zero of=bar count=1
1+0 records in
1+0 records out
# ls -la bar
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 512 Nov 18 10:54 bar

My dd is owned by the package coreutils-5.2.1-31.
