[H-GEN] Slideshow screensaver

Under Windows I have a screen saver called "Picture and Sound
screensaver". It has many many options but I just set it to take the
first picture from a dir, 10 seconds later it displays the next photo.
Next time it starts it uses the last picture it was up to and continues.
I am trying to find a screensaver for Linux that does the same thing. I
had a look at the xscreensaver called "slideshow" but all it does is
takes a random picture from the dir divides it into squares and starts
sliding them around.
There are various other xscreensavers that do a similar thing (take
random photo and manipulate/distort it) but none that just cycles
through them every x seconds.
I did find a mention of chbg that can be configured as a screensaver but
it just won't kick in for me. It has configuration files that you can
make it load when it starts but I can't find the option to start
displaying the photos after X minutes then change the photo after x
seconds.
Does anyone know of a screensaver that will do what I am after?
