I can't seem to see James' reply so I'm following up here.  I'm glad this 
was brought up, I meant to go back and edit my post to reword that section 
before sending but apparently I forgot.  I was going to suggest Freesbie 
CDs along with various Linux live CDs.

I think it is important for people to realise there is more to OSS than 
just Linux.  One of the great strengths of OSS is choice after all.

An excellent idea.  It is Software Freedom Day afterall, not Linux day or 
even Unix day :)

They used to have a Qld chapter.  I know AUUG in Qld was seeing flagging 
membership but is it gone entirely?
