If you are on a real tight budget and need the MySQL databases then you
could set them up on your static IP, get your web site to connect to
them and have your home box IPTables only allow connection to the
databases from the web site IP.

If you need more web space you could store it on the home box and then
use some fancy smancy HTML/PHP/CGI so that the files are only able to be
requested from your professionally hosted site.

I know that above is possible because I have seen it on other sites but
I don't know how it's done, maybe someone on the list can help if you
decided to do that.
