[H-GEN] Mii-tool with IBM Netxtreme BCN5703

Hi guys,
DO you know how to hardcode the speed for the above NIC?
I am facing some problem hardcoding the speed for the card using mii-tool.
Using Mii-tool, the card is detected as 100-FD but the /var/adm/messages 
detected as 1000-FD.

Please help if you know how to configure it to 100-FD or if you know other 
tools that can do so.
