I don't subscribe to blipvert, and yes, you were asking too much. A 
quick search of Ebay Australia for "Matrox G550" shows two cards, one 
listed at $51.00 with three bids and 7 hours to go. The other is listed 
at $117.50 with no bids and 2 days to go.

Even then, unless there was reason for wanting a Matrox card, spending 
an extra $20 - $30 for a FX5200 or same class Radeon based board would 
make more sense for most users.
