[H-GEN] dynamically linked binaries not working

I could do that.

The chroot environment is a from-source build courtesy of Nick
Moffitt's GAR (imagine BSD ports, for Linux, running on GNU make
instead of pmake).

My hope is to be able to copy the chroot onto a new disk, make it
bootable and have at least a starting point for a self-hosting
system.
