[H-GEN] CD (Playing) Problems

Hi Guys,

One of you out there has to know the reason why :)

Having problems playing audio cds...

Here are some attempts through a couple of command-line cd players.

$ cdplay
cdplay: can't open cdrom (/dev/cdrom)
cdplay:  CD status is no_disc

$ cdcd
cdcd: /dev/cdrom: No such device or address

And here are what my devices are:

$ ls -l /dev/cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           11 2004-05-25 21:31 /dev/cdrom
-> /dev/cdrom0

$ ls -l /dev/cdrom0
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            9 2004-05-25 21:31 /dev/cdrom0
-> /dev/scd0

$ ls -l /dev/scd0  
brw-rw----    1 root     cdrom     11,   0 2003-11-11 13:30 /dev/scd0
