[H-GEN] FW: Fedora Core 2 Bug with 3COM NICs

Ok I don't know how many of you have come across this yet, but in Fedora
Core 2, 3COM NICs don't initialize properly on boot, now what I intend to do
is create a user that auto logs in on boot, and runs:

 

ifconfig eth0 down

ifconfig eth0 up

dhclient

 

then logs out.

 

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has a better work around, or fix?
