I believe MRTG comes with a utility called cfgmaker, and another called
indexmaker. These are used to automatically write the /etc/mrtg.cfg file
based on an snmpwalk of a host. indexmaker is used to automatically write,
say, /var/www/mrtg/index.html based on /etc/mrtg.cfg, so that
http://localhost/mrtg/ say would show a summary of all the entries in the
/etc/mrtg.cfg.

It should be findable on the internet if it doesn't come with your
distributions MRTG package.
