[H-GEN] Software for sending bulk-email (need to throughput-test anti-spam filter)

Hey all,
I need to do some hammering on a spam filter setup to
determine if it can handle processing $BIGNUM msgs/hr.

Simple test setups using software intended for normal use in
nonintercative MUA roles (such as msmtp, fastmail, smtpclient, perl's
Mail::SMTP) tend to max out at a couple of messages per second,
becuase the TCP setup delay throttles the througput.

I need something that will connect to an SMTP server and shovel
multiple messages down a signle connection as fast as possible,
preferably pulling messages from a pool of pre-prepared example
messages.

Basically, I want to be a spammer. Unfortunately, spammers tend not
to post their engines on freshmeat.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Regards,
        Chris.

It's boring being a program when your only job is inserting a random .sig.
Muggins thinks I've put his .sig here, won't he be surprised...
