[H-GEN] TAB command completion

I have recently switched to Ubuntu (a Debian based distro) from Mandrake.

One of the things I really miss is the single Tab command completion. 
The default I have seen on all other distros is:
1. Part of command.
2. TAB.
3. Fills as much as it can and "beeps"
4. Tab again and it shows you all possible matches.

Since I am lazy and I *hate* the beeps, does anyone know how to change 
the default so that it does the same as Mandrake:
1. Part of command
2. TAB
3. Fills in as much as it can and lists possible matches.
