I know that one well. I nearly got trampled the last time I took about
100 pieces of cat5E to a meeting to dispose of. Ditto for all the
cards/motherboards/ram/etc I dumped in a couple of boxes.
I would've picked up more cat5E except that seeing as I was leaving the
job I already had to carry the contents of my desk with me. Also, I
don't know when I can next make it to a meeting as my fiance is
currently working Saturdays until 3pm and usually quite done-over after
a Saturday at his work. [ http://www.thediscshop.com.au/ he works at
the Mansfield store. Yes we're affiliated with them since they pay our
bills ;-)]
BTW, they're looking for sales/tech ppl at various locations around
Brisbane/Sunshine Coast so if you've a year or so of experience and want
work, check out the website and email in your resume to the appropriate
store. The hours are good and the people friendly (well I can't speak
for any store apart from Mansfield but I assume it's the same at other
stores).
To bring this back to linux-esque-ness, has anyone used xfce? I know it
by reputation only and was wondering what success folks have had with it.
Sandra.
