I recently got my Woody r1 going with rppppoe. I got source from their
site. They don't make it easy to see, but it's definitely on the page.
No real gotchas, although my machine refused to relinquish optusnet
cable so I just ditched the whole thing and reinstalled. Much nicer
leaner install now without a whole heap of rubbish we weren't using.
As for the comment from Tony about using a router, some of us prefer the
flexibility that comes from building our own. I already have a switch
and an ADSL modem. I don't need an ADSL router with switch ports. I also
have a K6-2-300 that would be junked if not for being used as our
router/gateway/firewall/fileserver/gameserver.
