[H-GEN] setting up a printer

It's an HP DeskJet.
I set it up with a print queue and couldn't get CUPS to work so I switched
to LPRng and it worked. I've printed a test page from RH but that's all.
However, I want Windows to recognise it more like it does a network printer
on another Windows computer. At the moment I can print, but I can't delete
jobs, specify number of copies, choose printing prefs, etc. So I'm thinking
Samba would be the best way to go. But I don't know how to do it. I use
Webmin coz it's much easier for me at the moment but when I try to use the
printer module in it, it says 'failed to save printer'. So I'm stumped.
I'm happy to delete the printer setup I currently have and start fresh if it
may work better (I'm assuming I did something wrong and I'd rather have it
the Samba way).

Well you have two options here, make it so that Windows can print to
Unix like print queues, or enable samba on the RH server to allow
Windows PC's to print to the printer.

I would recommend the later, you should know by now how hard it is for
MS to implement an accepted standard :)

Knowing what you already had setup would help. What sort of printer do
you have? Can you get RH to print to it? What sort of connection to the
printer do you have? Are you using CUPS? LPRng? lpr?
