Just to expand on this, it's ok to edit the sendmail.cf for config options
like this (insofar as it won't actually break anything on the system). The
problem arises if you do this as well as engaging in the sane practice of
managing the .cf through a .mc file.  As soon as you regenerate the .cf
from a .mc you'll overwrite the hand changes you made.  So I agree with
David to avoid editing the .cf directly but I just wanted to clarify this
point.
