Happy Monday All,
This smoothwall box of mine seems to be
more hassel than it is worth. Either that or my IPTABLE skills are
really lacking.
If I connect my laptop to my Optus cable modem and try to connect to the
majority of FTP sites, I have no problems. However, if I am connected to
my LAN, with the modem running into my Smoothie, then I seem to be
plagued with the following error. This error message comes from a
Windows Program called FlashFXP. I have tried in linux but I have the
same problem. I have tried both in PASSIVE and NON-PASSIVE modes.
230 User logged in, proceed.
SYST
215 UNIX Type: L8
PWD
257 "/" is current directory.
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PORT 192,168,1,200,4,85
200 PORT Command successful.
LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.
I am stumped. I can't seem to find any information out there on this.
So, if anyone has a clue, then I'd love to hear from you.
Rock and roll...
Conor.
