I saw the 16MB drives from The Disc Shop in Mansfield for $19 the other
day when I was buying my new hard drive. (Still waiting for Maxtor to
get back to me so that I can return my 'old' hard drive for warranty
replacement.) I got a Seagate 80gig drive with [apparently] 8 meg cache
for $184 [I think]. The Mansfield store had 2 left on Monday. The
regular cache drives are about $2 less. It's a very nice drive, a touch
on the noisy side but definitely much better than the failing drive I
had to replace.
