First off, IANAL.
I did read though that the courts were starting to take into account that
people disregard signs or messages that are always present - such as wet
floor signs present all the time (as they are in some buildings) or
disclaimers automatically appended to every email a company sends. This
of course renders the signs and messagesuseless in a legal sense.
Robert K's post about legislative requirements is interesting. I'll have
to look further into that.
